No measured deficiency. We do not offer elective infusions on request.
Protocol
Prescribing consultation. A documented deficiency is required before any infusion is scheduled.
Cannulation and infusion, 30 to 40 minutes, supervised by a nurse throughout.
Thirty minutes of observation for first infusions.
Repeat bloods at the interval appropriate to the deficiency, typically 8 to 12 weeks.
If your levels are in range, we will tell you that an infusion is unlikely to help and decline to give one. This is the most common reason we say no.
