Not suitable for
Testing without symptoms and without a decision that depends on the result. We will decline these.
Protocol
Timing matters. For menstruating patients we draw on a specified cycle day; we will tell you which when booking.
Morning blood draw between 07:30 and 09:30.
Assay panel appropriate to the question being asked. We do not run a fixed list.
Review appointment, 60 minutes, covering symptoms first and numbers second.
Where treatment is indicated, a prescription and a review date at week 12.
We treat symptoms in the context of measurements. A number slightly outside a reference range, with no symptoms and no decision resting on it, is usually left alone.
